Well one week on from my official diagnosis. I still look the same person on the outside to others but know my body isn't inside. I've not forgiven it yet for doing this to me................... I still feel the same - 40 years old going on 25!
Anyway as I have two wee boys I am not going to take this lying down. My family and faith will get me through. The new friends I have made on here are a godsend too.
Best wishes to you all going through this

Hi Lisa, It`s good that you have your two wee boys and a positive attitude - keep taking one day at a time, and you will adapt to RA as you go. 40 going on 25 sounds good to me!! Like you, I have wonderful family support - though my own two wee boys reach their 37th and 39th birthdays this year!! I now have two wee grandsons, 8 and 6, to keep me going, and a truly lovely daughter-in-law. Keep smiling, Kathleen x

Hi Lisa - sending you positive thoughts as you come to terms with this. It's amazing how adaptable we all are, and I do hope that you will forgive your body in time. All best wishes - Sylvia xx Be kinder than is necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

I totally understand that you feel that your body has let you down. I have felt this for many years but am now resigned to it. Sorry you feel the same. It's better to be honest with yourself than trying to deny it. Take care Anne
